Java takes you to new places. From its humble release to the public as the (wimpy) version 1.02, Java has been the most used language with its friendly syntax, object-oriented features, memory management and best of all - the promise of portability. In this course We’ll take a quick dip into what Java is all about and write some code, compile it and run it. We’re talking about syntax, loops, branching, Objected oriented principles - basically everything that makes Java so cool. Dive in.
Concepts Covered: Introduction, Control Flow, Functions, Object Oriented Programming, Exceptions, File I/O, Collections, OOAD + DP, , MYSQL and JDBC
Prerequisites: No prior Java experience is required, but you should be familiar with basic programming concepts like variables, loops, conditionals, arrays and methods. You should be comfortable running applications on Windows, MacOS or Linux.
